What about Short Drives?

Some people think Mexican insurance coverage isn’t necessary if they’re only going to drive very short distances in Mexico. For example, perhaps you mostly plan to be out on the beach and will probably walk around town. If you’re going to use your car at all, however, you’re going to need car insurance for Mexico. Besides, you definitely need coverage for the drive there and back. The easiest thing to do is to get a policy that remains valid until you’re safely back in the United States.

Is it Expensive?

You may be unhappy about having to buy a Mexican auto insurance policy because you’re dealing with a really tight travel budget. First of all, Mexico insurance is extremely affordable.
