Failure to Buy Mexican Automobile Insurance will Cost You Dearly
If you think that Mexican automobile insurance is one of those things that you can take or leave, think again. Some people may claim that it’s not really necessary, but going without it is a huge mistake. Without adequate insurance coverage, you could come home with insanely high bills. If you get into a car wreck and are found to be responsible, you will have to pay for the other driver’s bills. In the end, you could owe thousands. Mexico car insurance is cheap. You can avoid huge bills by arming yourself with a decent Mexican automobile insurance policy before heading south of the border.
Repair Bills
Without valid insurance coverage, you could be liable for another driver’s repair bills. Depending on the severity of the damage, the total bill could be considerable. As long as you have a Mexico car insurance policy, though, you won’t have to sweat about it. Your Mexican automobile insurance company will cover most of it; you will just have to pay a deductible. Like many people, you would probably like your trip to Mexico to be as affordable as possible. Without decent Mexican automobile insurance coverage, your careful planning could go right out the window.
Medical Bills
What’s even worse about possibly being involved in an accident in Mexico is that someone could get hurt. If you are found to be at fault, you’ll also have to pay for their medical bills. With Mexican automobile insurance, those bills would be covered. You’d just have to pay your deductible, which wouldn’t be too much money. If you don’t have coverage, however, you will have to pay those medical bills out of your own pocket. Although Mexican hospitals are cheaper than hospitals in the U.S., you still don’t want to have to pay that kind of money.
Loss of Income
One thing that really throws people for a loop is being held responsible for another person’s loss of income. This doesn’t always happen, but it is a possibility. If the other driver pursues the matter in court, the court may decide that you also have to pay for his loss of income while he recovers. That’s just throwing salt on the wound, of course, but you won’t have any other option. Wouldn’t you like to avoid these expensive bills and costs? If so, you need to keep valid Mexico car insurance with you at all times.
