You might find a day trip across the border to be a fun way to snag those cute stocking stuffers for the kids, but walking across the border leaves you holding all of your bags through the day. A driving trip makes it much easier to vary your focus throughout the day as you store your souvenir bags, take time to relax your feet, and explore areas away from the touristy zone. You do need to be sure that you are covered with Mexico insurance from Mexican Insurance Store, even for a short trip in border areas. Your home policy is not equivalent to Mexico auto insurance in its coverage.

Plaza Fiesta Souvenir Shopping Mall Directions

With your vehicle, you can move away from the border and check out a major Tijuana shopping mall, Plaza Fiesta, just six minutes from the border crossing from San Ysidro. Coming through the border, you will take the Vía Rápida approximately 950 meters, making a right to Boulevard Cuauhtemoc/México 1. As you reach the roundabout, take the first exit onto Paseo de los Heroes. The mall is located to your right on the street, and you will notice the movie theater, Cinépolis Plaza Río. The mall is much like those in the United States, and you can explore a variety of clothing, electronics and variety stores. You may also enjoy eating in the popular Sanborns Café as you enjoy a holiday shopping venture with some Mexican flair.

Cover Your Bases with Mexico Insurance from Mexican Insurance Store

Road features like roundabouts can be a bit more intense during busy driving times in Tijuana. Although the mall is only a few minutes from the border, an accident without Mexico auto insurance can place you in a serious legal situation, even if it isn’t your fault. Remember that Mexico’s legal system is very different from that in the U.S. and Canada. Guilt is presumed, and your lack of Mexico insurance from Mexican Insurance Store only supports your status as a lawbreaker. All motorists are now required to carry appropriate Mexico auto insurance, and it is your responsibility to be sure that your Mexico insurance from Mexican Insurance Store meets the standards for the state in which you travel. Our state-by-state guide helps you to be sure of expected liability limits for Tijuana.

I am a fan of collecting art, crafts and antiques. Tijuana is my place to visit every weekend. Due to my frequent visits, I always take my annual Mexican insurance policy online.

I would love to get a souvenir in form of an animal in Mexico and of course I would have to consider the craftsmanship of the item and the price. Getting there will be made easier if I get Mexican insurance which can be obtained straight from the internet.

Drive your car with Mexico insurance and go around buying for best souvenirs. One of the tourists’ favorite places is the major Tijuana shopping mall.
