    In Mexico, if you eat raw vegetables and fruits, it is helpful to disinfect them before eating. Mostly, berries, herbs and leafy vegetables have residual bacterial. When vegetables are cooked, disinfecting isn’t necessary. Heating alone will kill the bacteria.
