Your Mexican auto insurance policy is good throughout the entire nation, but there are extra benefits when you drive on a toll road instead of a free highway. This is contingent on whether you have valid Mexican insurance online coverage in place at the time of such an incident. A toll road won’t always be free of damage and difficulties, but if you do encounter adverse conditions that lead to damage to your vehicle, you do have financial recourse.

If it’s your first time to travel in Mexico, it’s recommended to use toll roads. Most free roads are windy, mobbed and narrow with slower running trucks. Mexican insurance is also recommended when driving.

Toll roads are not costly but they are worth the fee. Because most tolls are considered high-priced in Mexico, there are instances your car is the only one moving on the road. But it doesn’t mean leaving your house without your Mexican insurance.
